Job Summary/Objective:
- The maintenance planner and scheduler maintain the records of all scheduled and planned work within the Taunton plant. This includes but is not limited to Preventive and Predictive work and all work that is scheduled and planned for completion. This role also places all Purchase Requisition for services and maintenance for the plant and maintains blanket POs for the plant to include Fastenal.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Place all Purchase Requisitions for services and maintenance for the plant. Enter and review purchase orders in SAP.
- Maintain blanket POs for plant to include Fastenal.
- Hazardous Waste review/signoff for Maintenance (requires DOT&MADEP & USEAP certified)
- Manage inventory of Reel and Pallet and Print Wheel and place orders as needed.
- Schedules and plans workload for Maintenance Technicians.
- Ensures scheduled work is completed as planned and in a timely manner. .
- Computes and reports schedule compliance and work efficiency to Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
- Creates and maintains work instructions including required parts for scheduled maintenance activities.
- Works with vendors to source tools, parts and equipment and compiles price quotes for review with maintenance leadership.
- Assists shift Maintenance Technicians as necessary on the production floor.
- Works with Process Engineers / Technicians to resolve production yield issues and implement process improvements.
- Complies with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager or member of the Leadership team
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years technical experience in an industrial maintenance organization or equivalent military maintenance experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and write English
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with proper telephone etiquette
- Full working knowledge of standard machine shop practices and fabrication.
- Must be able to troubleshoot / repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Must be able to use standard measurement tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Must be able to read and interpret equipment tech manuals, schematics and blueprints.
- Must complete OJT for specific job classification, as required, in a timely manner.
- Previous maintenance planning experience preferred.

Pay Range: $39.26 to $46.01 per hour
